A rare late Victorian circus poster circa 1893, block printed in colour, for Mortimer's Grand Circus at the Parade, Bridlington Quay for the opening on Bank Holiday, Aug. 7, 1893 to include Quaglient & Allen's Italian Circus Troupe, a selection of British and American Artistes, Horses, Ponies and Educated Mules and 10 Clowns and the splendid string band. 88.5cm h x 28.5cm w.
Poster backed with hardboard and covered with clear film. Poster has some small tears to edges and top.
